   13 DAYS / 12 NIGHTS SUMATERA OVERLAND TOURS-PLUS

 

DAY 01.AIRPORT - HOTEL.
Upon arrival at Polonia Airport pick up by our Tour guide and then transfer to hotel. Afternoon free at own leisure.

DAY 02.MEDAN – BUKIT LAWANG. ( B)
After breakfast city tour in Medan, visiting Sulthan Palace, Grand Mosque and then drive to Bukit Lawang on the way stop at several plantation for rubber and Palm Oil, arrival at Bukit Lawang check in to hotel and afternoon tracking for 02 hours to see the Orang Utan in their own habitat and other kind of animal and the flora and fauna of the rain tropical forest.

Day 03 : BUKIT LAWANG – BRASTAGI. (B)
After breakfast drive to Brastagi with stop at Sembahe river and Sikulikap waterfall and visit Batak Karo traditional village at Peceren, and fruit market, afternoon check in to hotel.

DAY 04.BRASTAGI – SAMOSIR . (B)
After breakfast drive to Parapat on the way visit Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon ( Long house ) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the view of Lake Toba , upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat arriavl at Samosir check in to hotel.

DAY 05.SAMOSIR EXCURSION.( B)
After breakfast excursion on Lake Toba , visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages :
- Tomok : to see the old tomb of Sidabutar Kings.
- Ambarita : to see stone chair and table the excution place of Sialagan Kings.|
- Simanindo : to see Batak Toba traditional dance ( Tor-Tor ) and museum.
Afternoon return back to hotel.

DAY 06 : SAMOSIR – FREE AT OWN LEISURE. (B)
Today is a free time to enjoy the view of Lake Toba , where you can swim, sun bathing, cycling or just walking around the hotel.

DAY 07.SAMOSIR – SIBOLGA (B)
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sibolga , on the way stop at Pineaple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Upon arrival at Sibolga crossing by boat to Poncan Island and check in to hotel.

DAY 08.FREE AT TOWN LEISURE. (B)
Today is your free time to stay at the beach, swimming, snorkeling or other activity.

DAY 09.SIBOLGA – BUKITTINGGI ( B)
Leave Sibolga for Bukittinggi by passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the attraction of monkey picking up the coconut. Visiting pepper, vanila, cardanon and garden, and crossing the equator line at Bonjol, Afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi the charming town of Minangkabau directly check in to hotel.

DAY 10.BUKITTINGGI – MINANGKABAU TOUR (B)
After breakfast drive to Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, on the way stop at Rao-Rao to visit Minangkabau traditional village and stop to see traditional coffee milling, arrival at Batu Sangkar drive to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate of the Palace of Minnagkabau Kingdom and afternoon return back to Bukittinggi, on the way visit Pandai Sikat village to see Minangkabau traditional hand weaving and wood carving.

DAY 11.BUKITTINGGI – MANINJAU (B)
After breakfast city tour by visiting Sianok Canyon with its Japanese tunnel, Fort de Kock, Museum and Jam Gadang (Big Ben ) the Lands Mark of Bukittinggi and market then drive to Maninjau, on the way visiting Koto Gadang village to see traditional silver work and passing the fantastic 44 hairpin curve road, arrival at Maninjau check in to hotel.

DAY 12.MANINJAU – PADANG (B)
After breakfast drive to Padang via Pariaman with stop at Artha beach and arrival at Padang visit Muara beach and then check in to hotel.

DAY 13.HOTEL – AIRPORT/TRANSFER.B
After breakfast free at own leisure till time transfer to airport.
